The foreign licence: 68 numbers, 53 registrations, five revoked

Two Curaçao formats and one from Anjouan

Among the ten houses compared here, six present a Curaçao licence and four an Anjouan one. Within the Curaçao group two different formats coexist, and that confuses a good many people.

The new format starts with the letters OGL and carries the year in the second block: Vave with OGL/2024/1676/0905, Bitcasino.io with OGL/2023/111/0069, Metaspins with OGL/2024/1063/0437, Shuffle with OGL/2024/1337/0628 and Wild.io with OGL/2024/210/0198.

The old format is another thing: Rocketpot presents 1668/JAZ, in the pattern that preceded the reorganisation of the local system.

Anjouan numbers follow a third pattern, beginning with ALSI: DuckDice with ALSI-202509013-FI1, Empire.io with ALSI-132405042-FI3, Rainbet with ALSI-152406029-FI2 and Wolf.bet with ALSI-132405048-FI3.

Format is not quality. It is the stamp of the system that issued it.

The company is who signs the contract

Beside each number appears the name of whoever received it, and that name is almost never the name of the site.

Metaspins is the oddest of the ten: the holder appears in the register only as a corporate number, with no trading name of its own.

Whoever reads the contract is therefore contracting with a company whose name was not on the cover. That is why the column records the number rather than the brand, and the same care applies to the request for documents, which is signed by the same company.

Nine numbers, 24 brands

Here the arithmetic gets interesting. The 68 brands with a declared number present only 53 distinct numbers, because nine numbers cover several brands at once.

The largest is the Anjouan registration ALSI-202508056-FI2, under which sit five addresses: Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Slotum, Winz.io and Bitkingz. The Curaçao registration OGL/2024/1307/0748 covers three: 7Bit Casino, KatsuBet and Mirax. OGL/2024/1798/1048 covers Rolletto, Goldenbet and Velobet. OGL/2023/111/0069 covers Bitcasino.io and Livecasino.io, and explains why the two repeat the same verification amount under the same clause number.

Twenty-four brands, nine documents.

The practical consequence is direct: switching sites after a refusal can mean returning to the same company, with the same rulebook and the same decision. And, as the five brands on the Anjouan registration show, sibling brands can write different country lists from one another, which is counted in who accepts Brazil.

Five revoked registrations, and the number stays in the footer

A registration's status changes over time, and the house's page does not change with it.

In the library of a hundred brands, five are recorded as revoked: BC.Game, Bets.io, Betriot, Casinoly and Zet Casino. The last three display the same number, OGL/2023/103/0067, which means a single registration covered three addresses and lost validity for all three at once.

None of those five enters this site's table, and the exclusion is automatic: the selector that builds the table refuses any brand whose recorded status is revocation, before any other count.

What a brand says about itself and what the authority says about it are two sources. When they disagree, the second one counts.

It is worth noting what a registration status does not spoil: Betriot, with a revoked number, lists more game providers in its lobby than most brands with an active registration. The number of games and the look of a site are not documents and do not change on the day an authority cancels a registration, as the inventory in what the table does not say shows.

The year inside the number is not the house's age

A common error in other comparisons is reading the second block of a Curaçao number as a founding date.

Wild.io has run since 2022 and carries 2024 in its number. Rocketpot has run since 2018 and carries a number in the earlier format, which carries no year at all.

The number dates the registration, not the house.

When an authority reorganises its system and starts issuing in a new format, older companies receive new numbers. So “a 2024 licence” is neither praise nor accusation: it is the date that paper was issued, and it says nothing about how long the address has existed or how it pays.

What this licence does not do for anyone in Brazil

It is worth spelling out, because it is the part that matters to whoever is reading from here.

A Curaçao or Anjouan number is not a Brazilian authorisation and does not convert into one. Authorisation to operate fixed-odds betting in Brazil is an act of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance and defines the shopfront on a .bet.br domain, with the requirements described in two lists of requirements.

What the foreign licence offers is a forum for complaint outside the country, written in another language and under another system. That is little, and it is more than nothing; knowing the exact size of that little is why this page exists.

How to check a number yourself

The route is short and requires an account nowhere.

Copy the number from the house's footer, without spaces. Open the register of the authority cited and search for it. Check three things: whether the registration appears, which company it was issued to, and what status it holds. If the company name does not match what the house declares, the problem is identified before the deposit.

Note the date of the lookup, because the status changes without notice.
